What is Malai Tikka Boti?
Let’s break the name in a literal way:
Malai
Originated from the Indian subcontinent, Malai means cream and has been used in a variety of dishes (mostly the sweet ones) but it has an impact in curry-like kofta curry and moved into BBQ marination as well.
To enlighten the texture, it is used widely by Pakistani street food especially in Karahi and handi as a finishing touch.
Tikka
Tikka is the most popular important part of grill platter in the Indian subcontinent and for the last few decades has made a special place in the heart of the UK as well (Chicken Tikka masala).
Where most of the people claim the word came from Punjabi, it is also claimed that it is derived from tikkü (The Turkic word means “piece”), or more precisely it is directly related to Azerbaijan word “Tikə” which means a piece and “Tikə kabab” is also a famous Azerbaijan dish.
Boti
Boti also means a small piece of boneless meat which is handy for the bite; means a bite-size piece of meat.
now combine the creamy marinated chicken with some flavorful spices and grill them and boom!
You have a melt-in-the-mouth delicacy; often served with paratha, naan, and chutney for a next-level experience.
