Remove the seeds from dry dates and wash thoroly .
In a large bowl soak pitted dates in 1 litter milk for whole night
Blend the dates and set aside.
In a heavy bottom, pan add two liter milk and blended dates.
Turn on the flame, keeping the flame on medium, simmer till the halwa mixture starts to thicken and reduces more.
keep stirring until the milk completely evaporate.
Add dry fruits and ghee.
You can add your choice of nuts and dry fruits. I have added almonds and walnuts.(Chop the nuts before you add)
Simmer till the whole halwa mixture becomes dry.
When you can see some ghee being released from the sides, it means halwa is ready.
Serve halwa warm with tea.
