Ingredients

  • 1 cup Warm Milk
  • 1/2 tbsp Vinegar
  • 1 Egg
  • 120 gram Butter
  • 250 gram All-Purpose Flour
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 tbsp Orange zest
  • 1/4 cup Tutti Frutti

FOR THE ORANGE GLAZE

  • 1/2 cup Icing Sugar
  • Orange Juice As Needed

Instructions

FOR BUTTERMILK

  • In one cup of warm milk add vinegar let it rest for 5 minutes.

FOR THE CAKE

  • Then add egg and butter in the buttermilk and mix well, whisk until well combined, and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, orange zest, and tutti frutti.
  • Stir in buttermilk mixture into the dry ingredients, followed by the butter until no lumps remain. The batter will be thick.
  • Pour the mixture in a microwave-safe dish and bake for 6 to 8 minutes (depending on your microwave)

FOR THE GLAZE

  • Pour some orange juice in the icing sugar and mix well until no lumps remain.
  • serve the cake cooled cake with glaze or whip cream.
