white chocolate chip cookies

Ingredients

  • 85 g Butter unsalted butter room temperature
  • 150 g caster sugar or granulated sugar
  • 1 Egg Larg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 150 g all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup  chopped white chocolate (or white chocolate chips)

Instructions

For Cookies

  • Preheat oven to 180 C (350 F): line two baking trays with baking or parchment paper.
  • In a bowl add the butter and sugars and beat using an electric beater on medium speed for a minute or two until smooth and creamy.
  • Add vanilla and egg and beat until combined, scraping down the sides of the bowl.
  • Add flour, baking soda, salt and beat again quickly until a soft cookie dough forms. Add chocolate chips and stir.
  • Scoop cookie dough into small balls and place on baking trays. Place in oven for 10-11 minutes or until golden brown on the edges.
  • Leave cookies to cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
