Using a sharp knife score a smaller square inside each piece, and poke the centre of puff pastry with the help of a folk.
Bake the pastry until golden brown.
Then using a measuring spoon, scoop out a heaping tablespoon of cream cheese mixture and place it in the center of the puff pastry squares. Gently spread it, making sure to stay clear from the edges.
Now, beat the egg with the water and brush the edges of the pastry with the egg wash.
Topped the cream cheese mixture with blueberry sauce and almonds.
You can enjoy your puff pastry as is with tea or coffee or bake them again for 10 minutes for more flavour.
