Ingredients

  • 200 g Cream Cheese
  • 4 tbsp Icing Sugar
  • 200 g Puff Pastry
  • 1/2 cup Blueberry Sauce

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400F, and line your baking sheet with parchment paper then set aside.
  • mix the cream cheese with icing sugar and set aside.
  • Cut the puff pastry dough to a square and topped with cream cheese mixture and blueberry sauce.

Second method

  • Using a sharp knife score a smaller square inside each piece, and poke the centre of puff pastry with the help of a folk.
  • Bake the pastry until golden brown.
  • Then using a measuring spoon, scoop out a heaping tablespoon of cream cheese mixture and place it in the center of the puff pastry squares. Gently spread it, making sure to stay clear from the edges.
  • Now, beat the egg with the water and brush the edges of the pastry with the egg wash.
  • Topped the cream cheese mixture with blueberry sauce and almonds.
  • You can enjoy your puff pastry as is with tea or coffee or bake them again for 10 minutes for more flavour.
