Hyderabadi Mutton Biryani
Enjoy the delicious and most famous Hyderabadi mutton biryani also known as kachche gosht ki biryani is a wonderful treat and must-try for any biryani lover.
Ingredients
- 3 cups Rice
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 8 Green Cardamom
- 1 Black Cardamom
- 4 Cinnamon Stick
- 6 Cloves
- 3 Bay Leaves
- 1 tbsp Salt
FOR MUTTON
- 800 g Mutton
- 1 tbsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Garam Masala
- 1/2 tbsp Red Chili Powder
- 1 tsp Black Cumin Seeds
- 1 tsp Turmeric
- 1 tbsp Ginger & Garlic Paste
- 3/4 cup Oil
- 2 medium Fried onion
- a handful of Coriander leaves
- a handful of Mint Leaves
- 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1 & 1/2tbsp Green Chili Paste
- 1 cup Yogurt
Directions
- Marinate the mutton with all the spices, lemon juice, fried onion, coriander leaves. mint, half cup oil, yogurt, and let it rest for 1 hour.
- Add whole spices in water bring it biol than add soaked Sella basmati rice in the boiling water and boil until half
cooked. - Drain all water.
- In a pan brush oil in the bottom, then make a thin layer of rice, then layer marinated mutton, then remaining rice.
- on the top spread 1/4 cup oil, color, mint, coriander, and fried onion.
- Cover with foil paper and cook on a very low flame for 45 minutes.
- TIP
If the meat is frozen or not fresh then marinate the mutton with salt lemon juice and gram masala for half an hour then marinate with other spices.
