Enjoy Chicken Shashlik & Chicken Jalfrezi recipe which is made with almost the same ingredients but differs in taste.

Ingredients

CHICKEN MARINATION

  • 300 g Boneless chicken
  • 1 tbsp Soya Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Chilli Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Red Chilli Crushed
  • 1 tsp Ginger & Garlic Paste

VEGETABLES

  • 1 small Onion
  • 1 small Tomato
  • 1/2 Capsicum

FOR GRAVY

  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Ginger & Garlic Paste
  • 1/2 cup Tomato Paste
  • 3 tbsp ketchup
  • 1/2 tbsp Soya Sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp Chilli Sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper (Crushed)
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2/3 cup Water
  • 1 tbsp Corn Flour

CHICKEN JALFREZI

  • 300 g Boneless chicken
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 1/2 tbsp Garlic paste
  • 1 tsp Red Chilli Crushed
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin (Powder)
  • 2 tsp Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Tomato Paste
  • 4 tbsp ketchup

VEGETABLE

  • 1 medium Onion
  • 1 medium Capsicum

Directions

  1. In a bowl, add boneless chicken cube, soy sauce, vinegar, chili sauce, crushed red chili, salt, sugar, ginger garlic paste, and mix well.
  2. Mix well, and marinate for 30 minutes.
  3. In a pot, add oil, marinated chicken, and cook until fully cooked and take out on a plate.
  4. Add capsicum, tomato, onion, and cook for 1-2 minutes and take it out on a plate & set aside.
  5. In the same pot, add oil, garlic, and mix well.
  6. Add tomato puree, tomato ketchup, hot sauce, soy sauce, sugar, vinegar, black paper powder, salt.
  7. In water, add cornflour and whisk well.
  8. Add it to the pot, mix continuously, and cook until desired consistency.
  9. Add cooked chicken & vegetables, mix well, and simmer for 1-2 minutes.
    -Serve with rice.

FOR CHICKEN JALFREZI

  1. In a wok, add oil and garlic paste and boneless chicken, sauté until it changes color.
  2. Then add all dry spices and tomato paste cook for 2 minutes
  3. Then add capsicum and onion, sauté for a minute, .
  4. Then add soy sauce and ketchup cook for more than 2 minutes to serve hot with rice.
