Asaan Chicken Karahi


  • 500 ml Lukewarm Water
  • 500g Tomato
  • 2tsp Salt
  • 1kg Chicken
  • 2tbsp Ginger & Garlic Paste
  • 1tsp Turmeric
  • 1tsp Red Chilli Flakes
  • 2-3 Green Chillies (Chopped)
  • 1/2 cup Oil
  • 1/3 cup with 1/4 cup Milk Yogurt Mixture
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • add to taste Coriander leaves
  • add to taste Ginger (Chopped)


  1. Add 500 ml water in the karahi 500g tomatoes (cut in large prefered)and 2tsp salt
  2. Cover the karahi if required, let tomatoes boil until the skin softens remove tomatoes skin and mix it well.
  3. Add 1kg Chicken and 2tbsp garlic/ginger paste cook for two minutes
  4. Add 1tsp Turmeric, 1tsp Red chilli flakes, 2-3 Green Chillies when Chick Half has done add 1/2 cup cooking oil.
  5. Cook for 5 minutes, lower the flame and add yogurt mixture 1tsp Garam Masala, 1tsp Black Pepper cook for 2 minutes, Garnish with Coriander and Ginger, Serve with Naan, Roti or Chapati.
